Nashville, TN - Neal Family Ministries & award winning southern gospel artist Roger Neal, announced today a very special project. Country & gospel stars will come together on August 24, 2005 to record a CD/DVD combo called Roger Neal & Friends sing for MS The Lord Will Provide.
The stars that have been invited and confirmed to sing include: Roger Neal, Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, Lee Greenwood, Margo Smith, Dottie Rambo, LaVerne Tripp, Candy Christmas, Stella Parton, Young Harmony and Twice Robing along with a wonderful choir made up of Amber Family Aritists.
The CD/DVD combo will retail for $ 19.95. Net proceeds (75%) of all sales will be split and donated to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, specifically for people with MS that cannot afford medicine, walkers, wheel chairs, air conditioners and even help pay electric bills and to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society for research!
The project, Roger Neal & Friends sing for MS The Lord Will Provide is scheduled to debut in October 2005. This special CD/DVD will be recorded at The Family Room Studios in Gallatin, TN and released on the Amber Family Records label. Eric Faulkner of Amber Productions will be in charge of production for the DVD/Video.
Roger Neal’s wife, Lynn, was diagnosed with MS in May 2004. Having a heart to give back Lynn say’s “I thank God for MS! It gives me a purpose. I can stand up with God’s help and tell others how wonderful the Lord is to me. God has put it on our hearts to make a difference by raising money and giving people the things thay need to manage this terrible dsease. We want to be an example for millions who are suffering and have no hope, we tell them the Lord will provide and with Him, anything is possible.”
Roger and Lynn along with their three children travel across America spreading the gospel thru song and testimony. Time after time people approach the Neal’s with stories of finacial, phyisical and spiritual troubles associated with having MS. Roger say’s “In addition to ministering to the lost, God gave us something bigger than us. God put in my heart which artists to ask, and they all said yes! We know that on our own we could never accomplish getting these wonderful gospel & country stars together. This is God’s work and we are thankful he is allowing us to be apart of it.”
In addition to The Lord Will Provide song the CD will feature 10 bonus tracks from Roger Neal and Twice Robin.. The video/dvd will include The Lord Will Provide music video, behind the scenes, interviews with the stars, the making of The Lord Will Provide, plus bonus videos from Roger Neal & Twice Robin and more surprises.
The CD and DVD will be played on Christian and Country radio and TV networks nationwide. The national media such as Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, CNN, MSNBC, AP and Country Weekly Magazine will be covering this project.
Before Roger surrendered to the call of themusic ministry 3 years ago he owned a public relations firm in Los Angeles and New York called Neal Public Relations where he represented star such as Donny Osmond, Bob Barker, Wink Martindale, Lee Greenwood, Bob Hope and Milton Berle to name few.
Neal left the PR firm he had built for over 20 years to answer the call of the music ministry. Since then Neal was awarded THE HEART AWARD from the International Association of Music Ministries for 2004/2005 and hHe has released 3 projects. In 2004 he charted with a # 1 song on an independent chart with the song He Made A Change. In addition, he debuted on the European Christian Country charts with the same song at #41 in the top 100. He would go on to chart two more songs from that project in the top 10.
Neal’s current project After Calvary has alreadyproduced a charting song on the Circle Of Faith top 20 countdown with host Bobby Lynn who was presented with the Radio Personality of the Year at this year’s Academy of Christian Country Music Awards show. Roger is a frequent guest on chrsitan & secular TV networks.
